Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot program.

Thank you for your interest in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot program.  The City of North Bay, together with its partners, is excited to be a host community for this initiative.  Due to the requirements of the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Project, we are not able to accept applicants until later this fall, early winter. Emails received will be forwarded to the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce (the administrator of the program). You will be contacted once more information and criteria are available.

Welcome to North Bay

Located only a 3-hour drive north of Toronto, North Bay is a safe and welcoming community of approx. 51,553 people. You'll quickly discover that this is a vibrant city offering a healthy and balanced environment for working, living and raising a family. Here you'll find beautiful scenery, four distinct seasons of activity, a diverse economy, a state-of-the-art regional health centre and multi-level learning establishments.

With an increasing number of individuals accessing the programs and services offered through the North Bay & District Multicultural Centre and the established North Bay Local Immigration Partnership (formerly North Bay Newcomer Network), I am proud to say that this city has grown beyond just a welcoming community. North Bay is now a leading community of support offering settlement services to new residents from all parts of the world.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to North Bay - to experience an environment with clean air, abundant forests, and many amenities. The settlement services of the North Bay & District Multicultural Centre are here to help every step of the way and can be contacted online, or by calling 1.877.495.8931.
