If you choose to start your own business, there are many resources and services available to help you. Settlement.Org has a list of federal and provincial support programs for new business start-ups; this link also has relevant information for you if you have just arrived as a business immigrant.

North Bay has The Business Centre Nipissing Parry Sound Inc., which provides support and information on developing your business plan and finding out if funding is available to help you.

The Business Centre is located on the 6th floor of City Hall - 200 McIntyre St. East -View Map. The Business Centre also has satellite kiosks located in Mattawa, Sturgeon Falls and Callander that can connect you to the North Bay office via Skype.

Are you between the ages of 18 and 34? If so, the Futurpreneur Newcomer Entrepreneur Program may be able to provide assistance.
